Programs

Long Creek Elementary School's instruction program is designed to implement and extend the North Carolina Standard Course of Study with a strong emphasis on literacy and math.  Instruction is provided by a dedicated, professional staff of teachers and instructional associates who focus on language arts (reading/writing), mathematics, social studies, and science with specialized instruction provided by teachers in the areas of physical education, music, media and art.  We also have Expanded Impact Teachers, Exceptional Children teachers, an Academically or Intellectually Gifted (AIG) Teacher, English Learner Teacher, Speech Pathologist, Literacy Multi-Classroom Leaders, Math Master Teacher, Student Service Specialists, and School Counselors.
